ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's volleyball team dropped both matches at the Concordia (Mich.) University (Mich.) - Ann Arbor Kickoff Classic in Ann Arbor, Mich on Saturday, August 20. LTU dropped its opening match 3-0 to Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) University this morning followed by a 3-0 loss to Siena Heights in the afternoon match.

Lawrence Tech (0-4) dropped the opening set to Mount Vernon 25-22 followed by a 25-21 loss in the second set. The Blue Devils dropped the match following a 25-18 third set loss.

In the second match of the day, Lawrence Tech struggled in the first set as they lost 25-15, but made the second set go extra with the Saints edging the Blue Devils 27-25. In the third set, LTU fell 25-17 to lose the match and fall to 0-4 on the early season.

Lawrence Tech is back on the court Friday, August 26 as they participate in the University of Michigan - Dearborn Tournament hosted at Lawrence Tech. The Blue Devils open at 3 p.m. Friday against Spring Arbor (Mich.) University They face Concordia (Mich.) University - Ann Arbor at 7 p.m. Both matches are going to be played on court two in the Don Ridler Field House.
