THE TEAMS
Lawrence Tech (8-10, 0-2 WHAC) hosts its third straight match at Don Ridler Field House when they welcome Siena Heights on Saturday. The Blue Devils lost 3-1 to No. 11-ranked Lourdes Gray Wolves on Friday, September 16. Briana Reum (JR/South Elgin, IL) led the way with 12 kills and a service ace. Kristi Doherty (FR/Davison, Mich.) added two service aces and 22 assists.
Siena Heights (8-3, 2-1 WHAC) has won four of their last five matches including a 3-0 win over Marygrove in Detroit, Mich. Taylor Purcell all Saints with 11 kills on 20 attempts while Amanda Metz recorded 22 assists in the win. Paige Hudgin and Metz each finished with three service aces. SHU averages 10.45 kills per set with a .236 hitting percentage.
