SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - After an eleven-day break, the Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team is back on the pitch to take on Cleary (Mich.) University at 4:00 P.M.
Lawrence Tech (4-1) is coming off a record-setting game with University of Cincinnati - Clermont (Ohio) on Friday, September 9, matching their win total from a year ago with a program record 10 goals. Nicole Propst finished the game with her second hat trick of her collegiate career, while Tia Lamie and Ally Nyboer continued their powerful freshmen starts with two goals each. Nyboer added three assists as well. Also contributing two goals and an assist was Sarah Trapp. Megan Dixon was in net for the Blue Devils, recording five saves on five shots on goal.
Cleary University enters this match-up with a 4-1 record as well. Their last game came on September 14 against Madonna University, losing 1-5. They were led by Harley Gorzelski, scoring the only goal for the Cougars in the contest. In goal was Nichole Nadolski who faced 13 shots on goal, saving eight of them.
Lawrence Tech is undefeated against Clearly University, winning 3-0 in last year's game on Setember 16.
