SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team hopes to continue their success as they head into the first game of WHAC conference play with Cornerstone (Mich.) University on September 24 at 12:30 P.M at the LTU Athletic Field.
Lawrence Tech (5-1) returns to the pitch after a tight match with Cleary (Mich.) University. Ally Nyboer would end the game with two goals and one assist. Nicole Propst would add a goal to seal the match 3-2. Harley Gorzelski would be the only Cougar to score. Heather Derstine was in net for LTU, recording three saves while allowing two goals.
Cornerstone enters this match 5-1-1. Their latest game was against Rochester (Mich.) College, who handed them a 3-0 loss, their first of the season. The Golden Eagles are led by Lexanna Siemasz and Bria West, both totaling three goals and two and one assists respectfully. Goalie Allison Snowden has 13 recorded saves and four allowed goals.
