Southfield, Mich.- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's soccer team falls against No. 4 University of Northwestern Ohio (Ohio) in a 0-3 match Wednesday afternoon in Southfield, Mich

Lawrence Tech (6-9-1, 3-5-1) held off Northwestern Ohio, the number four team in the nation, until the Racers Bogca Horvath scored the first goal of the game from 30 yards out in the 28th minute. With 16 shots on goal both goalies helped keep the Blue Devils competitive with five saves from Megan Dixon (SR/Andover, Minn.), seven saves for Rebecca Almandoz (FR/Palmiste, San Fernando, Trinid) and one team save.

Up next for the Blue Devils is Senior day on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2017, at 3:30 pm as they take on the Aquinas (4-4, 7-71) at their home field in Southfield, Mich.
