SOUTHFIELD, Mich.- The Lawrence Technological University (Mich.) women's tennis team will play an away match this week against John Carroll University (Ohio) on Wednesday, October 3. This is the first time LTU faces JCU.

This season, the Blue Devils hold a 3-1 record. The team won its first match of the season against Taylor University (Ind.) with a score of 7-2. However, the following week they lost 9-0 against Michigan Technological University (Mich.). LTU won the two matched that followed against Adrian College (Mich.) and Indian University – Kokomo (Ind.) with scores of 7-2 and 8-1 respectively. 

This season, JCU has participated in three tournaments. The first one was the Oberlin Invitational, hosted by Oberlin College (Ohio) on September 7-9. The second was the Kenyon Invitational, hosted by Kenyon College (Ohio) on September 15-16. The third tournament was the ITA Regional tournament, hosted by Kalamazoo College (Mich.) and organized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on September 21-24. The JCU women's tennis team will close its fall season with the match against the Blue Devils.
