GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's golf team took the title of the second WHAC Jamboree of the season. The Blue Devils carded a 605 (302-303) to finish two shots ahead of runner-up University of Northwestern Ohio.
Lawrence Tech finished with two golfers in the top 5 as Victor Quiennec tied in third place with a five-over-par 149 (73-76), and Josh Stein tied in fifth after posting a 150 (76-74). Eddie Sheehan and Kaleb Wiesner tied for tenth after carding a 153, while Tanner Schnell tied in 28th with a 163.
The tournament top five was rounded out by Aquinas (Mich.) College with a 614 (312-302), Cleary (Mich.) University with a 622 (294-328), and Lourdes (Ohio) University with 624 (315-309).
The Blue Devils will be back on the course on October 7-8 in the third and last WHAC Jamboree of the season, hosted by Madonna (Mich.) University, at Fox Hills GC in Plymouth, Mich.
