AUSUSTA, Mich. - The Blue Devils mens golf team competed in the WHAC Preview this week, finishing in 2nd of 12 WHAC teams competing.
Jasper Komkommer led the way for the Blue Devils with a third-place finish, posting a total score of 220. After a solid 71 in the first round, he shot a 79 in the second before a strong rebound in the final round with a 68, his best score of the tournament.
Martin Wing finished tied for eighth place with a total score of 223. Wing's performance was marked by a great second round where he shot a 70, following a first-round 74 and a final round of 79.
Richard Bramley secured a tie for 18th place with a total score of 228. His consistent play included scores of 77, 77, and 74 across the three rounds.
Ali Elsayed also had a notable performance for the Blue Devils, shooting a 230 total with an 81, 77, and 72 on each round.
The Blue Devils mens golf team is back in action on October 6th in Benton Harbor, Mich. for the Bethel Fall Classic.
