SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Back at home following a 1-1 weekend in Indiana, the Lawrence Technological University women's basketball team hosts Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference opponent Cornerstone University (Mich.) on November 16th where tip off is set for 4 p.m..

LTU hosts this match (4-2, 0-0) coming off a 75-61 win versus Indiana Wesleyan University in the Leah Whittaker Memorial Tournament. Leading the Blue Devils so far this season has been the steadfast Kendall Fisher with 91 points. Fisher has a 87% free throw percentage and leads the team in assists with 33. This number ranks Fisher in the top five in the nation for assists. Right behind her in points is Teryn Kline with 72. Kline leads the team with sunk three pointers at 18, ranking 11th in the nation for total threes this season. Right behind her is Danielle Hanson who has 68 points. Hanson also leads the team in rebounds with 39. Rachel Price ranks 7th in the nation for total blocks with 10 and 20th in the nation for blocks per game with three. This diverse line up makes the Blue Devils a force on both sides of the court.

The Golden Eagles of Cornerstone (1-7, 0-0) come into this match with only one win, which was at the very beginning of their season, against Grace Christian University, where they won 74-56. CU is led by the effort of Rebekah Crosby who has 85 points this season and shoots 50% from the field goal range. She also leads the team with rebounds at 56.

This match marks the first WHAC game of the season for LTU and Cornerstone. Following this WHAC opener, the Blue Devils will travel to face University of Northwestern Ohio on November 20th. LTU has have four games between now and Thanksgiving Break, all against WHAC opponents.
