Blue Devils Prepare for Two Games in Florida, Start off With Match Versus Johnson and Wales

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. - The No.-25 ranked Lawrence Technological University Women's Basketball team has two road games coming up down in the sunshine state of Florida. Opening up their road trip, the Blue Devils will play at Johnson and Wales University - North Miami on December 29th where tip off is set for 2:00 p.m.. Then, on Monday, December 30th, the team heads over to face Keiser University where the game is set to start at 5:30 p.m..

The Wildcats (9-1) are led by the efforts of Tianna Ayulo who averages 15.8 points per game. Ayulo also leads in rebounds with 78. Shykim Gillion leads the team on both end of the court, leading the team in steal with 32 and assists with 36. As a whole the Johnson and Wales (Fla.) wildcats rank second in the NAIA for Offensive rebounds per game with 20.6, and 10th for stats including Blocks per game and total rebounds per game.

The Seahawks of Keiser (7-6) host the Blue Devils (10-4, 5-1) on December 30th. The Seahawks (Fla.) are led by the points of Emily Patton, who has 216 this season alone. Defensively, Midori Long leads the team in rebound, with 135, averaging 10.4 a game. Keiser is seventh in the NAIA for the three point percentage at a 38% average.

LTU comes into this match following a difficult loss to Northwood University (Mich.). Kendall Fisher had led the Blue Devils consistently this season, averaging 14.9 points per game. Right with her is Danielle Hanson, a double threat on both offense and defense, known for her double double in rebounds and points. Hanson leads the team with a 8.9 rebounds per game average.

Following these two matches, the Lawrence Tech come home on Saturday, January 4th to face Madonna (Mich.) in their latest WHAC match up.
