SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's volleyball team fell to (RV) Siena Heights (Mich.) University 3-1 (25-18, 20-25, 25-18, 25-18) on Wednesday night in Don Ridler Field House.

Lawrence Tech (15-13, 2-6) was led by Joshua Eckert (JR/San Juan, Puerto Rico) with 14 kills on 36 attacks while Calvin Ooms (FR/Amstelveen, Netherlands) finished with nine kills on 29 attacks. Zachary Narkiewicz (SO/Galloway, New Jersey) finished with eight kills on 31 attacks while Lawrence Patton (SR/West Bloomfield, Mich.) recorded 32 assists. Javier Contreras (SR/Miami, Fla.) added five assists to go with his 16 digs.

The Blue Devils dropped the opening set to Siena Heights 25-18, but battled back to take the second set 25-20 to tie the match at 1-1. Lawrence Tech trailed 11-7 to open the second, but tied the set at 13-13 en route to a 25-20 win.

The Saints (15-8, 3-3) were able to take the third and fourth sets to secure the match win. Siena Heights was led by Evan Cashen with 14 kills while Alex Garavalia recorded 13 kills. Keegan Crawford finished with 36 assists and 12 digs while Bryce Johnson record six block assists.

The Blue Devils are back on the court Wednesday, March 27 when they host Cincinnati Christian (Ohio) University at 7 p.m. inside Don Ridler Field House.
