SOUTHFIELD, Mich.- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's tennis team will host Concordia (Mich.) University-Ann Arbor on Thursday, April 18 in Southfield, Mich. for the first round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament. First serve is set for 11:30 a.m. at the Franklin Athletic Club.
The Blue Devils finished the WHAC regular season as third-seeded, while the Cardinals took sixth place. The winner of this matchup will face off with second-seeded Aquinas (Mich.) College on Tuesday, April 23 for the tournament's semifinals in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Last week, Lawrence Tech (10-10, 3-2) fell 5-0 to the University of Northwestern Ohio in WHAC action. The Racers took the conference regular season title with a 5-0 record.
On Friday, April 12, Concordia (7-10, 0-5) lost 9-0 to Cornerstone (Mich.) University. This is the second time the sides meet this season. On Thursday, March 7, the Blue Devils defeated the Cardinals, 6-3.
