SLYVANIA, Ohio - The Lawrence Technological University men's volleyball team faced the Graywolves of Lourdes on Wednesday night on the road where they fell in three straight sets. This is their first WHAC match of the season. 

The Blue Devils (1-4, 0-1) were dominated defensively by Lourdes (5-0, 1-0) for three sets. The first and second set saw LTU kept to 11 points. In the third and final set, Lawrence Tech battled, grabbing 18 points, trying to force the match into a another set after a rally of points, but fell 18-25.

The Blue Devils had 16 kills int he loss, led by the seven from Patrick Newell. Right behind him was the effort of Max Jewett with five. Both Austin Cinci and Neweel had two blocks. Newell led the team in digs with six while Jacob Paige followed close behind with four. 

Up next, LTU hosts their home opener versus Siena Hieghts University (Mich.) on Saturday, January 25th where the first serve is set to start at 7:00 p.m..
