Sylvania, Ohio- In what was a crucial game for the Blue Devils who were looking to make a push to the WHAC playoffs. The Blue Devils had to bring everything they had and then some to knock off the Grey Wolves of Lourdes University. Unfortunately, that was all but the case for the Blue Devils who couldn't seem to find their rhythm offensively on the night. With the Blue Devils falling to the Grey Wolves to the tune of 48-78 on Wednesday night in Sylvania, Ohio.

Overall the Blue Devils looked lethargic at times throughout the game struggling in the first half going 6-23 (26.1%) from the field and going 0-8 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils went into halftime with 16 points on the board and looking to bounce back in the second half. It was all but the case as the Blue Devils only scored 32 points in the second half. However, they went 10-29 (34.5%) from the field and 5-15 (33.3%) from beyond the arc. Overall they went 16-52 (30.8%) from the field and 5-23 (21.7%) from beyond the arc on the night. The Milford, Michigan native freshman Gunnar Gustafson was the only Blue Devil scorning in double digits with 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Looking ahead, the Blue Devils will need some help to make a push for the WHAC playoffs on Saturday afternoon across the league. The Blue Devils end the regular season with a trip to Rochester, Michigan, Saturday afternoon. As they take on the Warriors of Rochester University (Mich.), tip-off is slated for 3:00 pm in Garth Pleasant Arena.
