Box Score Southfield MI- The Lawrence Tech men's volleyball team fell in three straight sets to Goshen College on Saturday afternoon February 22nd in the Don Ridler Fieldhouse. The Blue Devils move to 3-8 overall and 0-5 in conference while the Maples Leafs of Goshen go to 10-5 overall and 3-2 in conference.
The Blue Devils fought hard in every set, but unfortunately couldn't not pull off a victory. Losing the first set (25-17), an entertaining second set (29-27), and the final set (25-23).
The Blue Devils had 37 kills in the contest, led by Joshua Eckert with 18. Jacob Paige added to his season assist total chipping in with 25. Jake Rajewski also led the team with 6 digs.
Looking ahead for the Blue Devils is a home meeting with top 10 nationally ranked and conference leader Gray Wolves of Lourdes University, February 26TH 7:00pm at the Don Ridler Fieldhouse.
