ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University men's basketball team fell on the road to Rochester Warriors in a 73-63 decision on Saturday afternoon.

• Carter Frantz led the team in points with 21, as well as grabbing five rebounds
• Isaiah Cumberland had 10 points in the decision
• Gunnar Gustafson led the team with seven rebounds in the loss
• Three Blue Devils, Isaiah Cumberland, Carter Frantz, and Gunnar Gustafson, had three assists each

HOW IT HAPPENED

The first part of the game started off close, with LTU leading going into the half 33-25. The lead was grabbed following a Sanna Sisawo three point shot, a pair of Logan Daniher free throws and another three point shot by Alek Ivanovic at the 22 second mark.

While they led in the first half, Rochester took control of the second, primarily due to their 60% shooting from inside. In the second, Rochester battled back early, tieing the game up at the 15 minute mark 38-38. After gaining the lead, Rochester did not look back and went on to score 48 points and kept LTU to 30. Rochester (20-9, 10-7) grabbed the win at 73-63 over LTU (10-16, 5-14).

This concludes the season for LTU as they did not make the top 8 spot needed to head to the WHAC post season.
