Box Score Southfield MI- On Wednesday night February 26th in the Don Ridler Field House, the Lawrence Tech Men's Volleyball team went down in three straight sets to 6th ranked Lourdes University. The Blue Devils move to 3-9 overall & 0-6 in conference, while the Gray Wolves of Lourdes go to 13-2 overall and 5-1 in conference.
The men fought hard in the first set putting up 7 kills while losing 25-18. The second set saw them falling 25-16, while the 3rd and final set ended with the Blue Devils putting up a herculean effort, losing 25-22.
Leading the Blue Devils with 11 kills and 8 digs was Joshua Eckert while Jacob Paige led the way with 19 assists.
March 6th is the next contest for Blue Devils as they head to Bluefield Virginia to take on Bluefield College and Thomas More University to kick off their Spring Break trip.
