Box Score ROCHESTER, Mich.- The men's basketball team hit the road for a crucial game within the conference; on Saturday, January 30th, the result wasn't what the Blue Devils had in mind. The Blue Devils fell to the Warriors of Rochester 66-83.
The Blue Devils went 26-57 from the field tonight on 45.6% shooting while going 6-15 from beyond the arc, shooting 40.0%; they shot 8-14 from the charity stripe and shot 57.1% on the afternoon.
Overall the team was lead by sophomore Gunnar Gustafson, who had 27 pts, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals. Fellow Blue Devils Carter Frantz had 10 pts, 6 assist, 1 rebound, and 1 steal, while Brandon Beavers had 10 pts, 5 steals, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Other Blue Devils to score were Sanna Sisawo with 7 pts, Isaiah Cumberland with 3 pts, Tyler Balon with 5 pts, and Logan Daniher with 4 pts.
Looking ahead, the Blue Devils look to stretch out the upcoming week with an onslaught of games starting Monday night when they head to Grand Rapids to take on Cornerstone. From there, the Blue Devils will return to action Wednesday night inside the Don Ridler to take on Madonna, head to Ohio on Saturday to take on Lourdes, and then to Adrian, Michigan, to take on Siena Heights Sunday afternoon.
