Blue Devils Fall to Saints

Adrian, MI - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils women's soccer team took on the Siena Heights Saints in WHAC action. 

In the first 20 minutes of the match, Siena Heights took seven shots while Lawrence Tech had yet to take one. 

Lawrence Tech got a couple shots off, both were saved by Kara Bishop.

The rest of the first half was uneventful, but Rebecca Almandoz recorded four more saves.

Going into half, the Saints had taken 13 shots to the Blue Devils three. 

The scoring broke in the 52nd minute, when Kennedy Hyde set up Marissa Young for her tenth goal on the season to give the Saints a 1-0 lead.

Siena Heights stretched their lead in the 67th minute to take a 2-0 lead, a lead that Lawrence Tech was unable to come back from.

Rebecca Almandoz played the whole game and recorded six saves. 

The Blue Devils return to action on Saturday, October 16, at 7 pm when they come home to face the Cardinals of Concordia-Ann Arbor.
