Southfield, MI - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team hosted conference opponent Siena Heights University at home on Wednesday night. LTU took over the momentum early and never looked back as they beat Siena Heights by a final score of 4-0. 

The Blue Devils scored first in the 9th minute of play after a header from Zane Arnold got past the keeper off a corner from Juan Jaramillo 

LTU was still in control with the time of possession and was able to find another goal off a rebound in the 28th minute from Victor Pueyo. 

Just one minute later in the 30th, Mario Colella buried one in the back of the net that was assisted by Alberto Morera.

LTU entered the half up 3-0.

The defense was clicking on all cylinders in this one by not giving many opportunities to Siena Heights.

Some freedom came the Blue Devils way in the 62nd minute when LTU was racing down the field on a four-on-one break as Ty Cerget got his foot on the ball to find the left side of the net to seal the victory for LTU. The goal was assisted by Merino (second of the night). 

LTU recorded a season-high 40 shots with 13 being on goal.

Goalkeeper, Marko Matovski only saw two shots on goal to pick up the win.

The Blue Devils' next match is on Saturday, October 16th at home against Concordia University. This match will begin at 4 PM.
