Box Score Marion, IN - The Lawrence Technological University football team ran into their toughest test of the season, falling to #10 Indiana Wesleyan University 35-0 on Saturday afternoon.
First Half
- A 24-yard TD run by the Wildcats halfway through the opening quarter put IWU up 7-0
- After a Tyler Kulka interception, IWU tacked on a 12-yd TD pass to hold a 14-0 lead after the first 15 minutes of play
- Following an LTU punt, the Wildcats capped off a 7-play, 67-yd drive with a 22-yd TD pass at the 11:46 mark of the second quarter
- The Blue Devils were driving right before halftime but a strip sack on the IWU 17-yd line with 35 seconds left until halftime ended that drive
Second Half:
- The Wildcats added another score on their first drive of the second half on a 42-yd strike to expand the lead to 28-0
- The Blue Devils tried to responded with a 12-play drive but turned the ball over on downs at the IWU 10-yard line
- The Wildcats added a pick six late in the third quarter on their way to the 35-0 win
