Southfield, MI – The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team took on the Concordia Cardinals in a battle of WHAC teams on a cold Saturday evening.

In the first half, there was a lot of back and forth play, causing very few attempts at the net for either squad. Each team took four shots in the first half.

In the second half, the teams battled hard, but no goals were scored. Concordia took seven shots, Lawrence Tech took six.

Maliea May's shot in the 74th minute that hit the post was the Blue Devils' best chance of the evening.

After regulation, LTU took five shots, CUAA took two. Again, no goals were scored in either overtime period.

Rebecca Almandoz played the entire game and recorded 10 saves.

The Blue Devils (4-7-2; 1-4-1) stay at home for their next matchup against Rochester (0-11; 0-7) on Wednesday, October 20 at 7 pm at Blue Devil Stadium.
