Southfield, MI – The Lawrence Technological women's volleyball team fell down two sets to none and ultimately dropped a WHAC match to Concordia University Ann Arbor in four sets 22-25, 20-25, 25-23, 14-25 on Saturday afternoon.

First Set:

• Ellery Cure kill made it 10-8 in the early going
• Madeline Hudson found Riley O'Connell to cut the CUAA lead to two at 18-16
• Lindsay Hubler kept the Blue Devils within reach at 24-22 before the Cardinals closed out the set

Second Set:

• LTU fell behind 14-7 early
• A 10-4 Blue Devil run trimmed the margin to one at 18-17
• The Cardinals rebounded with 7-of-10 points to take a two-set lead

Third Set:

• An O'Connell kill pushed the margin to 13-5 in LTU's favor
• The Cardinals responded to cut the deficit to three at 21-18
• Cure closed out the set at 25-23

Fourth Set:

• The Cardinals jumped out to a 17-9 lead
• CUAA stretched the margin to double digits at 23-13
• Hudson halted the run with a kill but the Cardinals won the next point to take the set 25-14
