Livonia, MI – The Lawrence Technological University women's volleyball team were defeated by the Madonna University Crusaders, who sit atop the WHAC standings at 12-2, by scores of 23-25, 22-25, 20-25 on Wednesday evening.

First Set:

• Riley O'Connell service ace made it 12-11 LTU
• Crusaders regained lead at 14-13 but Blue Devils trailed by just one, 24-23
• Madonna responded from attack error to close out the set with a kill ,25-23

Second Set:

• Nichole Hyduk service ace put LTU ahead 10-6
• Crusaders pulled within two, 19-17
• Madonna captured lead with four straight kills and never relented advantage, winning 25-22

Third Set:

• Lindsay Hubler kill gave LTU 14-11 lead
• 6-of-7 points from the Crusaders put them ahead 17-15 to force LTU timeout
• Blue Devils trailed by one, 20-19, but Madonna rattled of 5-of-6 to win 25-20
