Rochester, MI - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team was on the road Wednesday afternoon against Rochester University. LTU took care of business with ease as they blew out the Warriors 7-0 

The Blue Devils jumped on the board just 20 minutes into the contest when Bryce Nicholson was able to bury one past the goalkeeper. Matthew Sherman with the assist. 

Just five minutes later in the 26th minute, Ty Cerget found his teammate Alvaro Merino to put LTU up 2-0.

Still, in the first half, the offense was clicking on all cylinders, extending their lead to 3-0 on a goal from Mario Colella. 

LTU entered the half up 3-0.

Just two minutes into the second half Juan Jaramillo scored his fourth goal of the season to give his team a 4-0 lead. Assisted by teammate Skander Larfaoui 

The offensive rush continued when Colella scored his second goal of the match in the 58th minute, Alvaro Gurrea scored in the 64th minute, assisted by Larfaoui, and in the 81st minute, Alex Fernandez also scored.

LTU shut out the Warriors 7-0 for their biggest win of the season thus far.

LTU recorded 17 shots, 11 on goal.

Goalkeeper, Marko Matovski recorded two saves and earned his fourth win of the season.

The Blue Devils' next match is on Saturday, October 23rd against Lourdes University on the road in Sylvania, Ohio. This match will begin at 3 PM.
