Grand Rapids, MI - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils men's D1 hockey team took on the Aquinas Saints in a clash between WHAC teams.

How It Happened:

First Period:

Chippy play leads to a combined five penalties between the teams.
Blake Heier scores a power-play goal, assisted by Ethan Grover and Cole Therrian to give the Blue Devils a 1-0 lead.

Second Period:

Even more chippy play led to a combined nine penalties between the teams, but no goals were scored.

Third Period

After an empty second period, in terms of goals, they returned in the third.
Cole Therrian extends the Blue Devil lead to two, off an Adam Rebecca pass, with 16:55 remaining in the game.
Aquinas scores their lone goal, one of them the power-play variety, with 11:40 remaining.
