Southfield, MI - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team was on the road Saturday afternoon at Lourdes University. LTU extended their win streak to four with a win over Lourdes by a score of 3-1. This was the fourth game in a row where the team has scored over three goals in a match.

Once again, LTU found themselves on the board first when a header goal came in the 11th minute from Gonzalo Sanz, assisted by teammates Bryce Nicholson & Juan Jaramillo. 

Just a couple of minutes later in the 19th minute, the ball was bounced around in the box when it found the right foot of defender Zane Arnold to give the Blue Devils a 2-0 lead, assisted again by Nicholson & Jaramillo.

Two minutes after Arnold scored his goal, in the 21st minute, Nicholson tagged along to sneak one past the goalkeeper giving LTU a 3-0 lead headed into the half. Sanz and Jaramillo with the assist.

The Gray Wolves were held scoreless from the Blue Devils sound defense until the 71st minute when they finally found the back of the net to give them their first goal of the match.

LTU one this game 3-1.

The Blue Devils shot the ball a total of 13 times, seven on the frame, with six assists.

Goalkeeper, Marko Matovski earned his fourth win of the season while seeing two shots on goal and one save.

The Blue Devils' next match is on Wednesday, October 27th on the road against Cornerstone University. This match will begin at 7 PM.
