Rio Grande, OH - The Lawrence Technological University women's basketball traveled to the RedStorm Classic and took on the Rio Grande Red Storm.

Kendall Fisher led the Blue Devils with 22 points, six assists and five rebounds. Julia Huey added nine points. Kirstyn Lunniss contributed seven points and five rebounds off the bench.

The Red Storm opened up the scoring with two jump shots to give them an early 4-0 lead.

The Blue Devils bounced back with a 7-0 run of their own over the next two minutes to give them a 7-4 lead with about seven minutes to play.

The Red Storm would go on a 10-0 run over the next three-minute to reclaim the lead, doubling up the Blue Devils 14-7.

A Lunniss jump shot followed by four Ella Skeens free throws would extend the Rio lead to 9.

The teams would trade baskets until the end of the quarter, giving Rio Grande a 23-13 lead after one.

Hailey Jordan and Lunniss would swap buckets before the Red Storm would go on a small 6-0 run, broken up by a Fisher free throw.

An Avery Harper jumper would be the catalyst for a 13-1 run over the last three and a half minutes to give them a 44-17 lead into halftime.

In the second half, Huey and Gracie Mitchell scored the first seven points for the Blue Devils for an early 7-2 run.

The teams would trade baskets for the remainder of the quarter until 4 Rio free throws extended their lead to 30 points to head into the fourth.

A 13-5 run by the Red Storm over the first five minutes of the fourth gave them a 38-point lead.

Fisher and Huey each hit triples, but Rio came back with baskets of their own.

The Red Storm close the game off on a 16-6 run over the final 4:15, to win 92-48.
