Grand Rapids, Mich – The Lawrence Technological University women's volleyball team was swept by the Cornerstone University Golden Eagles in straight sets 16-25, 18-25, 17-25 on Saturday afternoon.

First Set:

• Abby Zambeck found Lindsay Hubler to knot the set at 11-11
• Consecutive service aces by Hubler retied the match at 15-15
• The Golden Eagles rattled off a 10-1 run to close out the opening set

Second Set:

• Ellery Cure kill cut the deficit to four at 12-8
• Four straight LTU points tied the match at 13-13
• Gneiss Aramburu set up Madeline Hudson for a kill to pull within one at 19-18
• Cornerstone again closed out the set on a run, this time taking the last six

Third Set:

• Riley O'Connell finish put LTU up 11-10
• Hubler kept the Blue Devils within two, 17-15, with a kill
• Similar to the first two sets, Cornerstone used an 8-2 run to cap off the set win
