University Center, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils women's track and field team participated in the Saginaw Valley State University Holiday Open this Friday and Saturday.

Jackie Albo earned LTU's highest finish of the meet as she placed third in the Women's 800m with a time of 2:25.36. Her performance has her ranked 11th in the NAIA in the Women's 800m.

In the Women's 1 mile, Darbey Johnson placed in the top five, with a 5:34.08. Teammate Hanna Assenmacher also cracked the top ten with a time of 5:57.93.

Johnson's time of 5:34.08 is good for 14th among all NAIA Women's runners.

In the Women's 400m, Caprice Johnson finished with a time of 1:02.92, Mia Jordan finished with a 1:04.49 time and Alona Mills finished with a time of 1:07.12.

The relay team of Aniya Adams, Johnson, Jordan, and Mills took third in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:10.24.

Adams' 600m time of 1:47.50 was good for fourth place. Her performance has her ranked 14th in the NAIA in the Women's 600m.

Their next meet is on January 15th in Geneva, Ohio.
