GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The men's basketball hit the road for the second time in three days, this time to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for a clash against WHAC foe Cornerstone. The Golden Eagles came out on top 67-50.
The Blue Devils went 20-53 from the field, shooting 37.7%, 8-22 from beyond the arc shooting 36.4%, and 2-2 from the charity stripe shooting 100% for the evening. The Blue Devils had 30 rebounds, 13 assists, 6 steals, 3 blocks, and 19 turnovers on the night.
Isaiah Cumberland leads Monday night for the Blue Devils with 10 pts, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Gunnar Gustafson had 8 pts and 6 rebounds, Alek Ivanovic had 8 pts and 6 rebounds also. Sanna Sisawo had 7 pts and 6 rebounds, and Carter Frantz had 7 pts and 3 rebounds on the night. Other Blue Devils to score were Tyler Balon with 6 pts and Logan Daniher with 4 pts.
Looking forward, the Blue Devils are back home on Wednesday night to take on Madonna at 7:00 pm in a crucial WHAC matchup. From there, the Blue Devils will have a couple of days to get ready for Lourdes on Saturday in Sylvania, Ohio, for a Noon Tip-Off.
