SOUTHFIELD, Mich.- Women's soccer was back in action on Friday, this time playing back in Blue Devils Stadium for the first time since Halloween weekend. The end result was an onslaught of goals as they beat Rochester 7-1 Friday.
The Blue Devils' first goal came 1:43 into the game off a Jenny Dear assist finding Laura Silverman to put them up 1-0. Goal two arrived at the 26:01 mark with Jenny Dear finding the back of the net to make it 2-0. Jenny Dear would find the back of the net for the second time and her second goal of the afternoon off the assist from Rebekah Holbrook at the 32:45 mark of the first half. Goals in the second half came from Andrea Williams, DiOnna Hill (2x), and Jenny Dear (assist also).
Looking ahead, the Blue Devils will have the week to prepare as they take on Madonna in their first WHAC game of the Spring Season on Saturday at 3 pm inside Blue Devils Stadium.
