Men's Soccer Falls to Siena Heights

ADRIAN, Mich.- Men's soccer was back in action for the first time since Halloween after completing the first half of the season back in the fall. The second half of the season was slated to get underway on Wednesday night against Madonna; however, due to COVID protocols, the game had been postponed and made up later.

So, the Blue Devils kicked off the second half of the season on Saturday afternoon in Adrian, Michigan instead. The result was a 2-o loss by the Blue Devils to move them to 3-3 in conference play.

In total, the Blue Devils had 10 shots, with 3 of them on goal. Marko Matovski earned his first start of the 2020-21 campaign grabbing 4 saves with 6 shots on goal. Goal one came at the 47:45 mark of the game off a penalty kick, while goal number came at the 55:19 mark off a rebound of a saved shot. Juan Jaramillo was issued a yellow card at the 47:45 mark; in total 4 yellow cards were issued on Saturday afternoon.

Looking ahead, the Blue Devils will prepare for Madonna in a reschedule of Wednesday nights game slated now for Sunday, March 14th at 3 pm inside Blue Devils Stadium.
