Fort Wayne, IN - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team traveled to Saint Francis University (Ind.) Wednesday night, prevailing in a defensive battle with the Cougars, 1-0.

It was a defensive match-up throughout as both teams could not find the back of the net for the majority of the game.

Late in the game, in the 80th minute, senior midfielder Adrian Miling broke the seal with a goal to put the Blue Devils 1-0. The Cougars fought back late, but goalkeeper Marko Matovski came up huge with some big saves to end the game with his first shutout of the season.

Matovski made four saves in goal on the night. 

LTU outshot the Cougars 14-7, along with seven corner kicks on the evening. 

The Blue Devils next match is Saturday, September 4th versus Indiana East University for their home opener at 7 pm.
