Upland, IN - The Lawrence Tech Blue Devils women's soccer team took to the road to square off against the Taylor Trojans. The matchup ended with the Blue Devils taking their first defeat of the season.

Taylor got the scoring started with a goal in the third minute.

The Trojans picked up another goal in the 12th minute.

Shortly thereafter, a third goal was scored in the 15th minute.

Before the half ended, Taylor tacked on two more goals in the 33rd and 36th minutes to extend their lead to five.

In the second half, the Trojans scored twice more, once in the 46th minute, and finally in the 79th minute.

The Blue Devils were outshot 30-7.

The Lawrence Tech women's soccer team looks to avenge this loss on Wednesday, September 15th at 7 pm at home against St. Francis.
