Ann Arbor, MI – The Lawrence Technological University women's volleyball team dropped the first set but battled back to force a fifth set before ultimately falling 18-25, 25-21, 15-25, 25-21, 13-15 to Concordia University Ann Arbor on Friday night.

• Vanessa Herz kill capped five straight points to tie set at12-12
• Cardinals took 8-of-11 points to open up a 20-15 advantage
• Ellery Cure finish kept Blue Devils within striking distance, 22-18, but CUAA closed out set 25-18

Set 2:

• Nicole Whan found Lindsay Hubler for 13-11 Blue Devil lead
• A finish by Madeline Hudson held margin at two, 20-18.
• LTU won 7-of-10 final points to take set 25-21

Set 3:

• Hubler kill cut deficit to two at 11-9
• Cardinals take 7-of-9 to extend the margin to seven, 18-11.
