Southfield, MI - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team hosted Goshen College at home on Saturday evening. They lost a close one as it came down to the wire by a final score of 2-1.

LTU struggled offensively where they could not find the back of the net for the entire first half.

Goshen took the lead nine minutes into the game and extended their lead to 2-0 in the 24th minute.

LTU entered the half down 2-0

As Goshen was a man down, LTU found some life late in the game from forward Adrian Miling as he was able to give LTU a goal in the 86th minute. The Blue Devils had multiple opportunities to score in the last four minutes of the match, but could not capitalize.

LTU lost 2-1

The Blue Devils shot the ball 18 times with eight of those on the net. 

Goalie, Riley Alexander ended the game seeing three shots on goal and one save.

The Blue Devils' next match is Wednesday, September 22nd on the road against Mount Vernon Nazarene. This match will begin at 7 PM
