Box Score Fort Wayne, IN – The Lawrence Technological University women's volleyball ran into a tough Indiana Tech Warriors squad on the second match of a back-to-back, falling in straight sets 15-25, 12-25, 9-25 on Saturday afternoon.
How it Happened:
Set 1:
- LTU held an early 6-5 lead after an Abby Zambeck kill
- Indiana Tech responded by winning 9-of-11 points to opening up a 14-8 advantage
- A Lexie Kallio kill cut the deficit to four at 15-11
- The Warriors answered again as they finished the set on a 10-4 run to take it 25-25
Set 2:
- The Warriors jumped out to a 10-4 lead
- The margin ballooned to 22-8 before a Shelby Rasch kill momentarily slowed down Indiana Tech
- An LTU attack error ended the set 25-12 in Indiana Tech's favor
Set 3:
- The Warriors again jumped out to a double-digit lead at 17-6
- A Cure kill halted the run at 17-7
- Indiana Tech went on to win 8-of-9 points to close out the set and match 25-9
