Bethel, IN – The Lawrence Technological University men's golf team took second place in the 11-team Battle at Blackthorn, hosted by Bethel University.
Luis Pacheco put together rounds of 73 and 71 at the Par 72 Blackthorn Golf Club to finish fourth in the 60-golfer field with an overall score of E.
Freshman Thomas Delmas was consistent as he put together a pair of 1-over rounds to finish T-6.
Fellow freshman Liam McEvoy rebounded from an opening-round 79 to post a 1-under 71 on Saturday to finish T-14.
Rounding out the five Blue Devil golfers was Bruno Vicente (+9) in 20th and Anthony Zeitler (+11) in 27th.
Lawrence Tech will stay on the road as they travel right to the WHAC Preview at the Bedford Valley Gold Course in Battle Creek, Michigan for the two-day event beginning on Monday.
