Box Score Riverview, MI – The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team took on the Wolverines from Michigan-Dearborn in a battle of WHAC teams.
In the first half, the teams tallied a few shots on goal each way. Three shots on net by Michigan-Dearborn, and two for Lawrence Tech, but no goals either way.
The second half was a bit different. The Blue Devils were much more aggressive, taking ten shots to the Wolverines' three.
The scoring started in the 71st minute, when Jenny Dear scored her first goal of the season, giving LTU a 1-0 lead.
Shortly thereafter, in the 75th minute, Jaiden Konrad scored her third goal on the year to slam the door.
Sydney Schnurstein posted her first shutout of the season.
The Blue Devils (4-4-1) next matchup is against Madonna on Saturday, October 2 at 11 am in Livonia.
