Southfield, MI - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team hosted conference opponent the University of Michigan-Dearborn at home on Wednesday night September 29th. LTU was in full control from the jump as they beat the Wolverines 5-1. 

LTU hopped on the board early as they scored their first goal in the seventh minute of play coming from Reece Still.

Just moments later in the 11th minute, Skander Larfaoui found the back of the net from a Mario Colella assist.

In the 28th minute, the Blue Devils were able to extend their lead to 3-0 when Larfaoui scored his second goal of the match.

LTU entered the half up 3-0.

Early into the second half, Alex Hall scored on a header goal off a corner kick in the 60th minute that was assisted by defender Bryce Nicholson. 

In the 63rd minute, the Wolverines finally got themselves an opportunity coming from a penalty kick that found the bottom left side of the net. 

The Blue Devils were awarded another corner kick late in the game, where lefty Matthew Sherman bent one in the top left corner to seal the 5-1 victory for LTU.

LTU registered a season-high 18 shots with 10 being on goal.

Goalkeeper, Riley Alexander didn't see much action in this one as he only saw three shots on goal, making two saves. 

The Blue Devils' next match is on Saturday, October 2nd against Madonna University on the road. This match will begin at 2 PM.
