SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team snagged another WHAC victory at the hands of Michigan-Dearborn on a soggy Wednesday evening.
How It Happened:
- LTU started the scoring early when Emily WIlliams scored in the 15th minute
- Abigail Gray joined the 15th-minute scoring party, giving the Blue Devils a 2-0 lead
- Jessie Koje sent a perfect ball to Maliea May to cross the keeper for a third LTU goal before half.
- Juju Kleit put UM-Dearborn on the board with a free kick that just squeezed in the top left corner, making it 3-1 LTU
- Reagan Boyle set up WIlliams for her second goal of the night in the 80th minute
- Shortly thereafter, Bridget Finneran dished it to Williams who booted it from the 15 yard line to the top right corner
- Gabi Nelson (3-2-3) was credited with the win, she recorded 2 saves
- Sarah Smith entered the game for her first collegiate game
The Blue Devils (3-3-5) continue their homestand on Saturday, October 15
st when they host Cleary for an 8 pm WHAC match.
