Box Score Southfield, MI - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team hosted the Golden Eagles of Cornerstone on Wednesday night. An offensive explosion led to a Blue Devils victory by a final score of 6-2.
- A through ball into the box from Victor Pueyo and Guillermo Garcia found the feet of Cesar Nunez to sneak past the keeper six minutes in
- In the 24th minute, Skander Larfaoui put LTU up 2-0
- Again, Larfaoui two minutes later made it 3-0 off a chip shot just out of the keeper's reach
- Right before the half, Brandon Stewart put Cornerstone on the board, 3-1 LTU at the break
- Alex Fernandez scored back-to-back goals to give his team a 5-1 lead to start the second half
- Cornerstone would score in the 77th minute from Tyler Corstange
- The game winning goal was scored by Ty Cerget in the 88th minute.
