GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team traveled to face off against the Golden Eagles of Cornerstone University on Wedneday evening. They came away 4-1 winners on the road.
How It Happened:
- LTU started the scoring early, when Jenny Dear surprised the keeper with a long-range shot in the 7th minute
- Reagan Boyle was set up by Abigail Gray to give the Blue Devils a 2-0 lead in the 27th minute, an advantage they would take into halftime.
- Early in the second half, Lindsey Ramos found DiOnna Hill for her third goal of the season, extending the LTU spread to three
- Cornerstone would put one on the board in the 79th minute as Ainsley Harris' lead pass found Chloe Dood to bring within two
- Hill netted an insurance goal in the 88th minute for her team lead-tying fourth goal of the season.
