Toledo, Ohio - The Lawrence Technological Blue Devils baseball team traveled to Toledo to take on Lourdes in a WHAC battle. The Blue Devils took both games, winning 6-0 and 2-1.
How It Happened:
Game One
Inside the Numbers:
- LTU outhit LU 8-5, tallying more its in the sixth inning (6) than Lourdes had all game
- Of the 11 different hitters that the Blue Devils sent to the plate, eight got hits. No batter had multiple hits, but every starter reached base.
Game Two
- A Cameron Hardy single to center gave the Blue Devils an early 1-0 lead in the second.
- DeKuiper's sac bunt scored Reed, extending the lead to 2-0 in the fourth.
- Steve Haugh singled through he left side to score Josh Hare in the eighth
- Jeremy Flattery (5-0) took the hill as the starting pitcher, pitching a eight innings, allowing one run (earned) on seven hits and a walk. He struck out three.
- Matt Olson slammed the door to record his second save of the season.

- Harry Storch and Reed led the Blue Devils wth two hits
- Reed scored both runs for the Blue Devils
- Olsen and Reed extend their hitting streaks to seven and five, respectively.
Lawrence Tech (15-14, 7-3 WHAC) is scheduled to take the field in Adrian on Monday in a doubleheader makeup against Siena Heights, with the first game beginning at 1 pm.
