Livonia, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University men's lacrosse team traveled to Madonna to face them in the first round of the WHAC tournament. The Blue Devils would come away with the 7-6 upset.
- Eli Lozinski started the game off with a goal assisted by Maveric Muscat
- Tehaluntasele Cornelius took one into his own hands to give the Blue Devils an early 2-0 lead.
- Madonna would answer back with a goal by Nick Bryden
- Damian Hudson sets up Muscat to extend the lead to 3-1 at the end of the first
- Early in the second, Muscat put another past the keeper
- The Crusaders brought the game back within two
- A third Muscat goal gave the Blue Devils a three goal lead
- Grady Holmes sets up Lozinski to give LTU a 6-2 lead into halftime
- Ryan Fleury's unassisted goal made it 7-2 midway through the third
- Ty Killar scored the next two goals to bring Madonna within three, early in the fourth
- Cole Gingell scored midway through the forth to tighten the game to 7-5
- Nick Conrad made it interesting, scoring a goal wih just over 90 second left to cut the deficit to 7-6
- That's where scoring would end. The Blue Devils came away 7-6 winners
