Grand Rapids, Mich. - The #10 Lawrence Technological University men's lacrosse team competed against (RV) Siena Heights on Wednesday afternoon. The Saints batted to a 13-6 victory.
Siena Heights took the lead early in the first, scoring the first two goals before
Grady Holmes put the Blue Devils on the board.
After three straight SHU goals,
Ryan Pastorino put it in the net, making the score 5-2.
Holmes would find
Ryan Fleury to bring the game within three heading into the half. SHU 6, LTU 3 at half.
The Saints outscored the Blue Devils 6-1 in the third period to increase the margin to 12-4 after three.
Eli Lozinski, with a man up, was set up by Pastorino to cut their deficit to seven.
Maveric Muscat's late goal from Lozinski had the game at 12-6.
Siena Heights would tack on a goal in the final minute, leading to the 13-6 final score
