Southfield, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University baseball team opens up their 2023 season on the road to play University of the Cumberlands and West Virginia Tech
LTU is coming off a 27-20 (16-6 WHAC) season where they finished second in the WHAC standings, surpassing the preseason projections, where they were picked to finish 5th in the WHAC.
Head Coach Stan Eldridge enters his 7th season at the helm of the baseball program, the only head coach since the program's rebirth. LTU will be on the road for the first month of the season, traveling to Kentucky, West Virginia, and Florida before returning home to start conference contests beginning in mid-March. During the regular season, Lawrence Tech will play 18 non-conference games in total and 32 conference tilts with the WHAC Tournament set to begin in May.
