Box Score ANN ARBOR, Mich – The Lawrence Technological University women's volleyball team fell to conference foe UM-Dearborn in straight sets, 20-25, 17-25, 25-27 on Wednesday evening.
First Set:
- Madeline Hudson's kill gives LTU an 11-7 lead
- Dearborn responded with five straight points to retake the lead
- Wolverines take 7-of-8 points late to go ahead 23-18 on their way to taking the first set
Second Set:
- A Dearborn 7-0 run opens up a six-point edge, forcing an LTU timeout
- Riley O'Connell's kill pauses the spurt but a 6-0 Dearborn run balloons the margin to 12, 22-10
- The Blue Devils answer by winning 7-of-9 points, 24-17, but Wolverines close door on comeback attempt at 25-17
Third Set:
- Lindsey Hubler's kill gives LTU a slim 19-17 lead in a back-and-forth set
- After Charley Klint holds the differential at 22-20, 4-of-5 kills by Dearborn makes it match point at 24-23
- Back-to-back kills by Hudson and Klint turn the tables as LTU has set point at 25-24
- Wolverines stave of first set point before taking the next two to win the set 2725
