Men's Soccer Loses WHAC Opener Against #17 Indiana Tech, 2-1

Box Score Fort Wayne, Ind - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team took on #17 Indiana Tech University on the road on Saturday night to open up WHAC play. The Blue Devils would fall short by a final score of 2-1
  • Guillermo Garcia had a nice look on goal that was saved 15 minutes into the match
  • A set piece opportunity for the Blue Devils came in the 34th minute, but could not capitalize
  • LTU shot the ball three times, all on net in the first half.

  • With Garcia on the break, Warriors goalie makes a huge save. Danann Silvestre's second chance was just wide right in the 66th minute
  • Garcia would respond with a goal of his own to tie the game up at one in the 80th minute
  • The Warriors would regain the lead after a game winning goal in the final minutes of play to beat LTU 2-1
